Clive Owen and More Join FX’s New Limited Series “Retreat”
It’s the trip of a lifetime over at FX, where the upcoming limited series “Retreat” has just added ten new faces to its cast. According to Deadline, Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, Alice Braga, Jermaine Fowler, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Edoardo Ballerini, Pegah Ferydoni, Ryan J. Haddad, and Javed Khan are the latest to join the project. These stars also join the previously announced Brit Marling and series star Emma Corrin. The series comes from Marling and Zal Batmanglij, who previously created the Netflix series “The OA” and will reportedly follow Gen Z amateur sleuth Darby Hart (played by Corrin) and 11 other guests who “are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must fight to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life.” Marling and Batmanglij will write and direct with FX set to produce. Avy Kaufman was the lead casting director for “The OA,” but a casting director for “Retreat” has yet to be made public.
