It’s been confirmed that two other well-known actors have joined the already star-studded cast of Christopher Nolan’s next big picture “Oppenheimer.” Earlier this month, news broke that Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon were joining the upcoming picture. Now, “Little Woman” actor Florence Pugh and “Bohemian Rhapsody” star Rami Malek are both reportedly joining the film, as well.

Christopher Nolan continues to stack the deck for his next big Universal Pictures feature based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin. Following the previous casting news of Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon, as well as the official confirmation of Emily Blunt, the next A-listers to join the cast are Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, and Benny Safdie, via Hollywood Reporter. As we previously reported, Cillian Murphy will star as the man behind the development of the atomic bomb during World War II. “Oppenheimer” is set for release on July 21, 2023.
