Obsessed with Netflix’s ‘The Princess Switch’? Check Out These Gigs

If you’re a fan of holiday romantic comedies, then you’ve already probably watched a few of Netflix’s festive films. This year, the star on the tree was “The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star,” headlined by Vanessa Hudgens. Following her villainous doppelgänger’s quest to find love, the Christmas rom-com landed in Netflix’s No. 2 most-watched spot following its initial release. While a fourth installment hasn’t yet been announced, there are plenty of other Netflix and holiday gigs to check out. From a film starring Adam Sandler to a movie about a grandmother at Christmas, stay in the holiday spirit by applying to these roles.

“Hustle”

Netflix is casting a feature film starring Adam Sandler and produced by LeBron James. Join the star-studded project, which follows a washed-up basketball scout who discovers a new talent when he meets a boy playing on the street in Spain. The production is looking for talent of all genders and ethnicities, aged 18 and older, to play ensemble roles. Filming will take place Jan. 10–14 in Philadelphia, and professional pay is included.

“Granny Bell’s Xmas”

Audition today to join the cast of this new Christmas rom-com. The production is looking for Black female talent, aged 26–34; a male lead, aged 34–43; and Black female talent, aged 50–70, to play a key supporting character. Filming will take place on TBD dates in Los Angeles, with professional SAG pay included.

“Blood Eyed Lovers”

This new short film is a vampire love story that follows a young teen who falls for a beautiful vampire. The project is looking for caucasian male talent, aged 18, to play the lead; and male talent, aged 17–19 to play members of hi posse. Rehearsals and filming will take place on Thursdays in January in London. This is an unpaid gig.
