Mr. Harrigan’s Phone,” a Netflix and Blumhouse feature based on the short story by Stephen King, is casting Conenncticut-based talent for background roles. Plus, a beauty campaign is seeking hosts, a financial brand is casting a satirical commercial, and a thesis short film is casting its leads.

“Mr. Harrigan’s Phone”

The Netflix and Blumhouse Productions feature film “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone,” based on the short story by Stephen King, is casting background talent.  Talent, age 15–28, is wanted to portray high school and college students in background roles. Negative COVID-19 tests are required and will be administered on Oct. 25 with filming to follow on Oct. 26. Talent will work in Connecticut. Pay is TBD (undisclosed by the production).

Beauty Campaign Host

Talent, age 18 and older, is now wanted to host beauty videos on the Compete app. Talent will work remotely. Pay is $150–$200.

Office-Themed Satirical Commercial

Casting is underway for a satirical commercial for a financial brand. Three actors, age 27–50, are wanted at this time. Filming will take place in early November at a studio in Los Angeles. Pay is $300–$1500 depending on the role with a meal provided.

“A Phantom”

Casting is underway for “A Phantom,” a thesis short film about a man who is haunted by a phantom that is slowly driving him insane. Three actors, age 18–35, are wanted for principal roles, including the starring role of Adam. Auditions will be conducted virtually during the week of Oct. 25. Rehearsal dates are TBD. Filming will take place on Nov. 11–14 in New York City. Pay is $50–$100 per day with transportation partially compensated and meals provided.
