Amazon is currently casting background talent for its comedy, “Mozart in the Jungle,” which, in addition to Bernal, stars Lola Kirke, Saffron Burrows, and Bernadette Peters. Who could turn down a chance to bask in the glow of Bernadette? The series, now in production on its third season, seeks actors to portray “rocker types” for a club scene. Shooting will take place Aug. 4 in Brooklyn, New York.
Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) is looking for actors, singers, and dancers for its upcoming professional auditions. Male and female performers are being sought, with working dates and locations varying depending on the company and production.

Casting is underway for the upcoming web series, “Silence Speak Volumes.” The police procedural, which “tells the story of an incident that goes horribly wrong for a band of cops,” will shoot through August in New York City and Queens, New York, as well as Jersey City, New Jersey.

Lead and supporting actors are sought for “The Happy Home,” a short thesis film. The paid gig, a drama, will rehearse Aug. 12, with shooting slated for Aug. 15–17 in Los Angeles. Auditions are Aug. 3!
