The upcoming Warner Bros. movie musical “The Color Purple,” starring Taraji P. Henson, Fantasia Taylor, Danielle Brooks, Ciara, and more, is continuing to cast actors for background roles. Plus, a Color Factory shoot, a feature rom-com, and a children’s health app for a nonprofit are casting now.

The upcoming Warner Bros. movie musical “The Color Purple” is continuing to cast actors for background roles. Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to portray 1920s townspeople in a fast-paced, stunt-filled scene with singing and dancing. Filming will take place on April 6 in Macon, Georgia. Pay is $110 for 10 hours of work plus overtime, a fitting and COVID-19 testing stipend, and $50 for gas.

Color Factory NY

City Rogue Creative is now seeking talent, aged 18 and older, to portray museum patrons in a paid commercial shoot for Color Factory. Filming will take place on April 11 in New York City. Pay is $150 with meals provided on set.

“Love Reunited”

Join the cast of “Love Reunited,” a romantic made-for-TV comedy about high school friends coming together for their 10-year reunion. Two actors, aged 21–45, are now wanted to play the starring roles of Tony and Miles. Filming will take place in Chicago, Illinois, dates TBD. Pay is $500–$1200 per day plus travel and lodging provided.

Project Rainbow App, Voiceover

The Heroes Circle, a global healing and wellness martial arts initiative inspired by the children of Kids Kicking Cancer, is now casting talent for an app. Talent, aged 6–11, is now wanted to be paired with avatars of real-life children in the program for the app. Final recordings must be received by April 6. Talent will work remotely. Pay is $500.
