“The Politician”
“The Politician” is back for a second term! After Season 1 premiered Sept. 27, the Netflix series starring Ben Platt has begun filming its second season in New York. According to a post Platt made in his Instagram story and since shared on social media by “Politician” fans, production started back up Nov. 5, and cast members have been spotted several times around the city, including co-star Lucy Boynton near the Prince Street subway station in Lower Manhattan. This week, filming is taking place on Water and Dock Streets down in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The dramedy created by Ryan Murphy also stars Zoey Deutch, Bob Balaban, Platt’s “Dear Evan Hansen” co-star Laura Dreyfuss, Gwyneth Paltrow, and more. Regular Murphy collaborator Alexa L.
