On-set production is on hold for now, but remote work has exploded, and that even includes opportunities to get into character from afar for voiceover or remotely-shot projects as well as those casting via self-tapes for future production. MEDICAL TESTIMONIAL DRAMATIC REENACTMENT
An actor is wanted to recreate a testimonial based on a true story of a patient who wishes to remain anonymous. The story focuses on how an instance of poor prostate health affected a family outing. Male talent, aged 45–65, is wanted. A script will be provided and the team really wants an actor that can make the dialogue feel natural and authentic. “SHATTERED”
Investigation Discovery’s “Shattered” about the impact of crime is casting a handful of voice actors. It’s an original series that follows three points of view and explores how a crime alters the lives of those involved forever. Male and female voice talent, aged 16–45, is needed for various roles. Instead of normal narration, these voice roles will be dubbing over previously filmed actors, saying words spoken on camera that were recorded without audio. “EVIL LIVES HERE”
Investigation Discovery’s documentary series “Evil Lives Here,” which tells the true stories of people who lived with a killer, is casting voice actors. Male and female voice talent, aged 14–50, is wanted for the voiceover. This is also not a traditional narration role, but a version of ADR, saying the actors’ dialog to line up with reenactment video recorded without sound. Production dates have not been specified. “JUNIOR’S” BRAT TV DIGITAL SERIES
A 10-episode digital soap opera called “Junior’s” that will be posted on Brat TV’s YouTube channel is casting. The show follows 10 characters as they navigate intertwining storylines. Three supporting characters for male and female talent, aged 18–25, are available. All recording will take place remotely and talent will submit footage to the editors. Pay is $200 per day. WEBMD AD
A one-day virtual shoot for WebMD is casting a real life patient simulation for continuing medical education. This program will focus on metastatic urothelial cancer. The roles of the patient and the doctor are both available, for male talent, aged 71, and talent, aged 35–60, respectively. The shoot will take place remotely on May 26. “MUSHROOM WARS 2” VOICEOVER
A new real time strategy mobile game launch is casting a voice actor. Male voice talent, aged 45–80, with a British or Scottish accent is wanted for the recording, which will all be done online remotely. Pay is $100. Apply here!

TEXAS CASA VIDEO
An online training course video needs voice actors. A wide range of roles are available for Texas-based talent to shoot in person, but three roles for female voice talent, aged 35 and older, are available for remote work. “ALIEN RESCUE”
A live virtual reality performance is seeking its lead role of Baxter. Male talent, aged 18–50, is wanted for the role. Baxter is a shifty, criminal type who will say whatever you want to hear to get his way. “LARRY”
A one-man show web series is casting its lead. “Larry” follows a teenage wannabe influencer who is starting his first YouTube channel where he reviews movies, books, and more. Something’s a bit off about Larry and secrets he’s hiding come out when he accidentally uploads a video that goes viral. The series will be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, and IGTV and will require minimal technical support on the actor’s end. Equipment will be mailed to talent. The series will shoot on June 6–7 virtually. “HUNT A KILLER” BOARDWALK
Another “Hunt a Killer” game is looking for actors to take photos from home for in-game use. Male and female talent, aged 18–50, is wanted for six roles. Casting and taking of photos will all be done remotely from anywhere in the U.S., and the photos will be delivered in early June.
