Brace yourselves: the Roy family is back. Filming for Season 4 of “Succession,” is now underway in New York City. Find out more about the production (and even learn how you can potentially land a role) below.
Season 4 of “Succession” Is Filming in Queens
Variety was the first to report that Season 4 of the hit HBO series is now filming in the Big Apple. According to a Twitter user, production is underway at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens, as well as on East 68th Street between Park and Madison Avenues. In the past, the series filmed in NYC, as well as Scotland, Croatia, Virginia, and Italy.
Francine Maisler is the show’s casting director, and while the notice has already expired, “Succession” recently cast with us for background talent. Production was looking for talent to portray distinguished guests and business associates. Unfortunately, there are no active casting calls at the moment, but we’re hopeful as filming continues more notices will pop up. “Succession” follows the Roys, the family behind the biggest media and entertainment company in the world. It stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, and J. Smith-Cameron. Additional cast members include Alexander Skarsgård, who seems to be returning for Season 4, and the recently announced Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, and Jeannie Berlin. A Season 4 premiere date hasn’t been announced, yet.
