Lionsgate isn’t wasting any time getting Suzanne Collins’ latest “Hunger Games” installment, “Sunrise on the Reaping,” onto the big screen. The prequel film is due in theaters on Nov. 20, 2026, and the casting has been ramping up, with Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, and Maya Hawke some of the star-studded film’s latest additions. “Hillcrest A.I.”
Studio Yolanda is seeking cast and crew for “Hillcrest A.I.,” a feature film that follows two graduate students as they attempt to disrupt the A.I. landscape, only to have their code stolen and their loved ones threatened. Two male actors, aged 18–35, are wanted to play the starring roles of Alex and Clark. Talent must be based in the U.K. and have a valid passport. Production is also hiring multiple crew roles, including an assistant director and a director of photography. Casting is underway for “Her,” a short action-thriller about a female serial killer who hunts rapists when the legal system fails to deliver justice. A male actor, aged 30–45, is wanted to play the lead role of Nick, the lead male role. A stunt experience is preferred, and talent will work with a stunt coordinator to choreograph a fight and death scene. Talent will work in late July or early August in NYC.
