Bong Joon-ho’s Palme d’Or Winner ‘Parasite’ Just Released a Must-Watch Trailer

This early in the film awards season, contenders for Hollywood’s top prizes are still anyone’s guess. But one flick has already passed muster and could continue to generate buzz: Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite,” which at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival became the first Korean film to win the esteemed Palme d’Or.

Featuring Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik, and Park So-dam as two sets of families who become increasingly intertwined, “Parasite” is already a strong contender for foreign film award categories—and possibly, given its reception, for directing. Stateside, Neon will release this comedic thriller Oct. 11. Check out the newly released trailer below.
