The “Riverdale” spinoff starring Lucy Hale is getting ready for its official premiere next year after its series pickup back in May and is currently filming at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, Queens. The musical dramedy developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Michael Grassi, “will chronicle the origins and struggles of four aspiring artists trying to make it on Broadway, on the runway, and in the recording studio,” five years after the events of its parent series. With Hale stars Ashleigh Murray, Jonny Beauchamp, Julia Chan, Camille Hyde, Lucien Laviscount, Zane Holtz, and Katherine LaNasa.
