The Respondent
Martin Freeman is on the scene of the crime in Liverpool as he films his new BBC series The Responder. The Sherlock star was most recently seen in locations around Merseyside – Everton, South Liverpool, and more, according to The Liverpool Echo, filming for the new TV police thriller.
How to Become a Screenwriter in the UK The BBC released the first official image (top) last week of Freeman in uniform as Chris, a “crisis-stricken, morally compromised, unconventional urgent response officer tackling a series of night shifts on the beat in Liverpool.” The six-part series is written by ex-Merseyside police officer Tony Schumacher and will also star Adelayo Adedayo, Philip Barantini, Kerrie Hayes, Josh Finan, Emily Fairn, Faye McKeever, Warren Brown, and more. An air date has yet to be announced. Robert Sterne is the series casting director.
