Audio narrative film casting now
Short audio narrative film Trapped in Venice is being cast worldwide by a team from New York University. The film follows doctors observing a girl who seems to be losing her mind when she sees her friends alive and well after witnessing their murder. The team are casting for female leads Grace and Mary, female, playing age 16–30, and with voices that sound like teenage girls. Marcus is male, playing age 16–25 and with a voice that sounds like a teenage boy. Meditation project casting voice performers
Meditation project Simple Senses is casting for voice artists to read calming scripts to help listeners sleep well. The project aims to provide free and fair access to mental health support tools and all ad revenues will be donated to the World Health Organization (WHO) and other COVID-19 relief efforts. The team are seeking performers who can record from home. Male Sleep Coach and Female Sleep Coach are playing ages 25–60 and should have one of the following accents: English (RP or London), Irish, US Mid-Atlantic, US South (deep south, Dixie, Delta), or US West Coast (California, Portland). Storyteller for Kids is playing age 18+. The team are also casting for a Spanish and French-speaking voiceover artist. US pilot casting in London
The pilot episode for new comedy-drama So Far Bound is casting UK actors to tell the story of a group of people from around the world who have run away to the same far-off place. The team are seeking performers from a range of backgrounds for a host of supporting characters including Fen, a female, playing age 25–34 and Asian; Jay, female, playing age 25–43 and Indian or Latino; Kat, female, playing age 25–34 and white; and European character Leo, male, playing age 65–84 and white.
