Greenlit means a project is officially a go, so all you have to do is follow these leads to stay up to date. You never know where you’ll find an opportunity to land an audition!

George RR Martin and Jane Goldman’s prequel and “successor” show to Game of Thrones is collecting stars and kicking into gear ahead of production beginning this summer. Led by Naomi Watts, a host of names are attached, including Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sheila Atim, and Naomi Ackie. More casting recent announcements include Marquis Rodriguez, John Simm, Richard McCabe, John Heffernan, and Dixie Egerickx.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Martin said: “It hasn’t started shooting yet, but they’re getting very close to that. They have a great director and an amazing cast.”

He added: “It’s different. It’s definitely very different. It’s set thousands of years in the past. You’re looking at a whole different era of Westeros. No dragons, no Iron Throne, no King’s Landing. It will be interesting to see what the fans make of that.”
