Seeking South Asian lookalike
A screen production is casting for a lookalike/impersonator of former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. You’ll need to learn and lip-synch an existing speech, emulating the character. The role requires a male, South Asian actor with a playing age of 50–60. The piece shoots before Christmas TBC and the role is paid £2,000 for two half-day rehearsals and a shoot day. ITV Docudrama is casting leads
ITV produces the Autopsy series in the UK for the US market, and the current episode is casting music icon (and Cher’s former husband) Sonny Bono to examine the events surrounding his life and death. Lead role Sonny Bono is for a male actor, 50–68, who resembles Sonny in his early 60s, with receding brown/black hair, moustache, and a slim build. Company awareness video casting in London
Firewood Pictures are creating a short awareness video for a rail company and are casting supporting roles. The project features someone with a disability navigating a station and the team are seeking able-bodied actors to play friends and staff. Max is male, playing age of 24–60, and any ethnicity. He’s loyal, quick to stand up for their friend, and wouldn’t try to cause a scene for fear of making them uncomfortable. He has a banterous relationship with the lead character. Morgan is female, playing age 24–60, and any ethnicity. She’s friendly, proud of her customer service skills, and uncomfortable with confrontation. Filmmaker Teresa Duran is casting two male leads for a short film, following an encounter between characters under very special circumstances. Sinclair is male, playing age 45–50, and any ethnicity. Thomas is male, playing ages 40–45, and any ethnicity. The piece shoots for two days in east London, exact dates TBC depending on Covid restrictions.
