A Film-at-Home Commercial + More UK Screen Projects are Now Casting

These screen, stage, and voice projects are casting for actors and talent in the UK right now, so sharpen your self-taping and audition skills and get busy. 

Short film casting London-based actors
Short film Choked by History explores the story of betrayal among a group of rogue agents. The project is casting for lead role James – male, playing-age 26–33, and white. You’ll need to have a full driving licence, access to a car, and be fight-trained. Viktor is male, playing-age 29–37, and white. A Russian speaker, you’ll also need a car or a motorbike licence, plus access to a vehicle. This role also requires a fight trained and athletic performer. Supporting role David is male, playing-age 35–42, and white. Shirley is female, playing-age 22–28, and any ethnicity. Payet is male, playing-age 29–37, and any ethnicity. Cleaning commercial casting for a family
A creative agency are creating a fun news-style commercial for a cleaning product and casting a real family to shoot in their own home. The video follows the game show Mr and Mrs, asking family members who are most likely to sleep late or take the most time in the bathroom. Social media videos casting UK-wide
TikTok creators Bytedance are casting for a range of English-speaking promoters based anywhere in the UK to shoot videos from home. Roles are open to people of any gender, any ethnicity, and aged 18+. You’ll need to be able to shoot remotely and recreate a sample video. Student film casting in London
Students from Ravensbourne University are casting short film Cabin Dreamer, following an autistic artist who is determined to get the support he needs. Lead role Alfie is male, playing-age 18–23, and white. Alife’s autism has heightened his anxiety and affected his social confidence. The team are seeking a neurodiverse actor for this role. Alyssa is female, playing-age 18–25, and any ethnicity. A composer, she’s blunt and upfront. Rehearsals are flexible around actor availability and shoot dates are in late July.
