Lady Chatterley’s Lover
A new feature adaptation of DH Lawrence’s classic novel about an aristocrat who has an affair with a gamekeeper is in pre-production, with shooting planned around the north from late August. Screenwriter David Magee (Mary Poppins Returns) adapts, with Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre directing. Emma Corrin, who played Diana in The Crown, is rumoured to star. Casting is by Kharmel Cochrane.

Everything I Know About Love
Based on the memoir of acclaimed writer Dolly Alderton, BBC One’s drama series begins shooting from 2 August, set in a London flatshare but shooting in Manchester. The “messy, boisterous” and unflinching account of surviving your 20s is adapted by Alderton and directed by China Moo-Young. Casting is by Aisha Bywaters.
A Major UK Casting Director on Ways To Impress in Auditions Marriage
A new series from Mum and Him & Her creator Stefan Golaszewski, this BBC drama explores the fears, frustrations and salvation of marriage. The plot is under wraps and there’s no cast attached as yet. However, we do know it’s filming this September and casting director Sarah Crowe is now onboard.
Update: The Witcher: Blood Origin
Prequel Blood Origin is set 1,200 years before fantasy TV series The Witcher, focusing on the emergence of the very first Witcher and the story of how worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one. Writers Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Declan De Barra return for the project, as does casting director Sophie Holland and associate Faye Timby. Filming is now scheduled for August.

Multi-layered BBC conspiracy drama The Capture returns for a second series, with returning star Holliday Grainger as a tenacious young detective who uncovers a host of secrets in the pursuit of justice. Shooting begins in August and casting is now by Julie Harkin.
