Hey, United Kingdom actors! Stay in the loop and be sure to check back every week for projects currently in production in the place you call home. Here’s the 411 on what’s filming big and small in your region.

“Stranger With a Camera”
Oscar winner Oorlagh George is heading from the short-form world of filmmaking and into the feature-length territory with “Stranger With a Camera,” now filming in Country Down, Ireland. Not so much a stranger with a camera herself, George, who won the Oscar (along with her father, Terry George) for Best Live Action Short Oscar in 2012 with “The Shore,” has begun production on her feature directorial debut in the village of Killough. According to The Irish News, murals have been painted in the village for the drama, which tells the story of Gráinne, an American teenager who finds herself stranded in Northern Ireland after her father is arrested over a murder linked to the IRA 17 years earlier. Ellie Bamber (BBC’s “Les Misérables”) stars with Owen McDonnell (“Killing Eve”). Carla Stronge is the film’s casting director— check out her other project currently filming in Co Down here!
