Eco-friendly loo roll Who Gives A Crap is creating a shot-from-home commercial that features an influencer character discovering their product and telling the world about it. Lead role Kate is female, playing age 30–40, and any ethnicity. She’s kooky, motivated by sustainability, and into popular internet culture. The team are seeking a performer from the UK or Australia with an authentic Australian accent. Please note: the team are open to cis or transgender performers. You’ll be setting up your own camera to record at home and styling the set, all while being directed on video chat. The project will be a one-day shoot with one rehearsal over Zoom. Casting UK voiceover talent for Mayflower anniversary project
Digital storytelling company and VR specialists MBD are casting for voiceover performers to deliver scripts for a project celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower voyage. The film will explore the Mayflower story alongside contemporary tales of forced displacement. The team are casting for two male and female performers. Performer 1 is male, playing ages 20s or 30s, with a Nottingham or Lincolnshire accent. Performer 2 is male, playing ages 30s or 40s, with a neutral American accent. Performer 3 is female, playing age 20–39, with a neutral English accent. Performer 4 is female, playing age 20s or 30s, with a Latin American accent. Epic “audio movie” Age of Descent is a drama series exploring the effects of knife crime on families and communities. A charity project aimed at young people at risk, it will raise awareness and funds for the services that support them. The project is casting a host of roles, including lead Gary, male, playing age 30s, warm and compassionate. There’s also a host of teenage roles for performers with playing ages 15–20 and a group of characters with playing ages 40–60.
