A BBC New Creatives Film + More Projects Are Casting Now for UK Actors

These screen, stage, and voice projects need talent in the UK right now, so sharpen your self-taping and audition skills and get busy.

Short film casting in the south-west
Short film Fruity follows a lonely lesbian who is plagued with intrusive thoughts about fruit whenever she thinks of something sexual. Made for the BBC’s New Creatives, a set of innovative films, the project is casting a lead and supporting role. Lead role Mina is female, playing age 18–23, and any ethnicity. An innocent, small-town girl, she’s a rule follower, isolated, and feels like she’s the only lesbian in town. Supporting role Georgia is female, playing age 18–24, and any ethnicity. She’s playful, confident, cool and collected. Please note: you’ll need to be comfortable performing in underwear. Contracts are TBC and the project shoots in Cheltenham, dates TBD. AudioMovie casting host of UK roles
Epic audio-drama Age of Descent is a series exploring the effect of knife crime on communities. A charity project aimed at young people at risk, it hopes to raise awareness and funds for the services that support them. The project is casting a host of roles, including lead Gary, male, playing age 30s, warm and compassionate. There’s also a host of teenage roles for performers with playing ages 15–20, and a group of characters with playing ages 40–60. 2020/21 panto casting now
Pantomime Aladdin is casting now for a winter 2020-2021 tour. The team from AB Castings and Management are seeking two male roles ahead of the production. Both performers need to be 18+, have EU passports, be UK based, and available for rehearsals from 22–28 November and a run from 29 November 2020 to 10 January 2021. Dance company seeking new members
CTC Dance Company is casting for company members and seeking new talent. The team are seeking exceptional dancers, any gender or ethnicity, playing ages 18–40. You’ll need to be a strong actor with knowledge of ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip hop. The roles are Non-Equity and fees range between £200–£1000.
