“Cats”
Welcome to the Jellicle Ball, England! As of Dec. 7, the star-studded adaptation Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Cats” has begun filming at Warner Bros. Studios in Hertfordshire. The Tom Hooper–directed flick will star Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Dame Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, James Corden, Jennifer Hudson as Grizabella, and many more stars. This is Hooper’s second time directing a musical adaptation, following 2012’s “Les Misérables.” “Cats” will be an early 2019 Christmas present for fans, as it’s scheduled for release on Dec. 20, 2019.
