Dalí Land
A surreal sight has arisen in Wales as Ben Kingsley has stepped into costume as Salvador Dalí for the upcoming biopic Dalí Land. Shared by The Daily Post, the Oscar winner was recently spotted on set on Anglesey in Porth Dafarch for the Mary Harron feature in which he will take on the role of Dalí in his later years.
10 Film Schools in the UK You Need to Know Also starring will be Ezra Miller, who will play the Spanish surrealist in his youth, as well as Lesley Manville, Frank Dillane, and Tim Roth. The story will be told through the eyes of Dillane’s James, a young gallery assistant who “goes on a wild adventure behind the scenes as he helps the ageing genius Salvador Dali prepare for a big show in New York.” Harron will direct from a screenplay she wrote with John Walsh. Barden/Schnee and Colin Jones are the film’s casting directors.
