Apple TV+ is giving us something to believe in: the third season of the hit comedy Ted Lasso has officially begun filming in and around London! While you wait for Ted, Coach Beard, Rebecca, Keeley, and the whole of AFC Richmond to return, find out everything we know about the upcoming season...

We’re Richmond ‘til we die every day but especially this week! Filming for the third season of the hit comedy Ted Lasso has officially begun as of this past Monday, March 7, leading fans to deem the day “Ted Lasso Day.”
Nike hopped in on the celebration, as well, showing off AFC Richmond’s new kits, with several cast members sharing their own individual posts on social media, including Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster, Tom Hendryk, Cristo Fernández, Toheeb Jimoh, Kola Bokinni, and Billy Harris. And while Keeley Jones portrayer Juno Temple has not shared anything on social media since filming began, the week prior, she wrote on Twitter, “​​Don’t worry my loves, Keeley will be on screen power walking her way through season 3.”
How to Get Cast on ‘Ted Lasso’ The series will continue to film in West London and surrounding areas over the coming months, including West London Film Studios, the Skyex Stadium in Middlesex (home of the real Hayes & Yeading United F.C.), and more.
Ted Lasso stars Jason Sudeikis as the titular Lasso, an American college football coach who has been hired to take over as manager of AFC Richmond, a struggling English Premier League soccer team. Season 2 ended on a precarious note after it was revealed that Nate (played by Nick Mohammad) had told the press about Ted’s recent panic attack and left the team to manage former owner Rupert’s (Anthony Head) new team.
In addition to the Sudeikis, Mohammad, Head, and the aforementioned cast members, the series also stars Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Stephen Manas, Annette Badland, Moe Jeudy-Lamour, and more.
Season 3 of Ted Lasso will be released on Apple TV+ sometime later in 2022— based on previous seasons, expect it sometime around the end of summer at the earliest. Theo Park is the casting director.
