When asked whether or not an actor’s audition prep should differ depending on genre, the short answer, according to acting coach and Backstage Expert Mel Mack, is a resounding “yes.” Here, she explains why something like a multicam sitcom audition is vastly different than an audition for single-camera comedy or drama.
