Nominations are in for the 74th Emmy Awards, and “Succession” is taking TV’s biggest night to the bank. The HBO drama earned 25 nominations for its fourth season, including outstanding drama series and 13 individual actor nods. These include Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong for lead actor, J. Smith-Cameron and Sarah Snook for supporting actress, and a near-sweep in guest actor in a drama, in which the show holds four of the six nominations.
“Ted Lasso” and “The White Lotus” trailed just behind “Succession” with 20 nominations apiece, followed by “Hacks” and “Only Murders in the Building,” tied at 17, and “Euphoria” at 16.
A few notable first-time nominations are spread across the acting categories. After five nominationless seasons, Rhea Seehorn has finally been recognized for her work on “Better Call Saul” for supporting actress in a drama. In that same category, Sydney Sweeney notched her first Emmy nomination for “Euphoria”—and then earned another in the supporting actress in a limited series category for “The White Lotus.”

Netflix’s “Squid Game” continues to break ground, becoming the first ever non–English language series to get an Emmy nomination. All told, the South Korean dystopian drama tallied 14 nominations. These include individual acting nods for Lee Jung-jae, Jung Ho-yeon, Park Hae-soo, and Oh Yeong-su—all of whom are the first native South Korean performers to be nominated for lead actor in a drama series, supporting actress in a drama series, and supporting actor in a drama series, respectively.
“Television continues to keep the world entertained, informed, and connected. With production at a historic high, the Academy has received a record number of Emmy submissions this season,” said Television Academy chairman and CEO Frank Scherma. “As we prepare for the entertainment industry’s biggest night, we are thrilled to honor the innovators, creators, performers, and storytellers who are propelling this platinum age of television.”
The Emmys ceremony will air on Sept. 12. Keep reading for the full list of nominees.
