“Westworld”
As we anxiously prepare to journey back to “Westworld” next year, expect to see the stranger-than-fiction show in production for its third season if you’re local to L.A. Crews have been near Downtown this week at South Olive Street, where they will continue filming overnight throughout the rest of the week. Starring Thandie Newton, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris, James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright, and many more, the hit HBO series takes place in the fictional Westworld, a technologically advanced Wild West–themed amusement park populated by androids and high-paying guests.
It was renewed for a third season last month, and scheduled to premiere in 2020. John Papsidera is the series casting director.
