Greenlit: Meryl Streep Joins ‘Extrapolations’ at Apple TV+

Off a major and rare television role in HBO’s “Big Little Lies,” Meryl Streep will reportedly give the small screen another go. She is one of nine new additions to the cast of the upcoming anthology series “Extrapolations,” joining the project along with Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Tahar Rahim, Matthew Rhys, Daveed Diggs, Gemma Chan, David Schwimmer, and Adarsh Gourav. According to Variety, the Apple TV+ climate change series helmed by Scott Z. Burns “will examine how impending changes to the planet will affect love, faith, work and family in people’s lives over eight interconnected episodes.” “Extrapolations” is now in production and it is due out next year. Carmen Cuba is the casting director.
