Listen up, performers, writers, and otherwise jack of all trades: The Nordic Fringe Network is currently accepting submissions for its 2020 circuit, and you’d be wise to get involved.
Here’s the deal: the Network includes seven Nordic Fringe festivals across five countries in 2020, each of which is an ideal opportunity for fledgling and established artists alike to showcase their work. You can find the festivals below, along with application details and qualifications.
RVK Fringe (Reykjavik, Iceland)
Stockholm Fringe (Stockholm, Sweden)
Gothenburg Fringe (Gothenburg, Sweden)
Norway Fringe (Bergen, Norway)
Lahti Fringe (Lahti, Finland)
Fin Fringe (Turku, Finland)
CPH Stage (Copenhagen, Denmark)
Those interested can apply to all seven festivals, or pick and choose whichever they want—and best of all, there is just one simple application that serves the entire network (there is also a biannual festival in Lithuania, which you can apply to for 2021 consideration). Submissions from anywhere in the world are encouraged. And if you need more convincing, see how these performers took back their artistic autonomy with fringe festivals, and how one performer completely changed her artistic impetus and founded a Fringe festival herself.
Well, what are you waiting for? Get started right here!
