“Slutty Teenage Bounty Hunters”
Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” may have just concluded its series run this past week, but its creators already have a new project in the works. The streaming platform’s “Slutty Teenage Bounty Hunters” has been filming in Georgia for the past month. Executive produced by Tara Herrmann and Jenji Kohan (“Orange Is the New Black,” “GLOW”), the series will follow two fraternal twin sisters (played by Anjelica Bette Fellini and Maddie Phillips) who dive into the world of bounty hunting after joining forces with a veteran of the industry—while still having to navigate the high stakes of teenage life. Over the past month, the series has been filming in Duluth at Piedmont Road and Sidney Marcus Boulevard, followed by production at Oglethorpe University, where it has been most recently. It has also been filming in Forsyth County, Piedmont Heights, and Doraville. There hasn’t been a casting director publicly named yet, but the best guess is Jennifer Euston, who led the team for both “Orange” and “GLOW.” Read about how she creates a diverse ensemble, and get a look inside her audition room here!
