Curtain Call
A mystery of deceit, blackmail and murder, set in 1930s London with an all-star leading cast attached, the film follows feared theatre critic Jimmy Erskine (played by Simon Russell Beale) and his loyal assistant (Paapa Essiedu) as revenge is set in motion by a newspaper boss (Colin Firth) and an actress (Gemma Arterton) who’s been trashed in one of his latest columns. Shooting is set to begin later this year and casting director Charlotte Chapman is attached.

Small Dark Look
Jason Statham is reportedly in talks to star in this gritty feature crime drama following the Russian mob in London. From writer Steven Knight and director Martin Zandvliet, the project is gearing up for production later this year and casting director Des Hamilton is attached.
One Life (Update)
A feature drama based on the true story of Nicholas Winton, a British banker who saved hundreds of children from the Nazis. Director Aisling Walsh (Elizabeth is Missing) is attached, as are stars Anthony Hopkins and Johnny Flynn, who play the old and young Winton respectively. Shooting is now confirmed for April on location in the UK and Prague, and casting director Nina Gold is attached.
House of the Dragon (Update)
More news on the Game of Thrones prequel, which is gathering star names ahead of shooting later this year. Set 300 years before the events of GoT, House of the Dragon tells the story of the House Targaryen. We can now confirm that Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and Matt Smith are attached alongside Paddy Considine. Production is set to begin in April at Warner Bros in Leavesden. Longtime GoT casting directors Nina Gold, Robert Sterne and Carla Stronge are likely to be attached.
Call My Agent! (Update)
The hotly anticipated British version of hit French series Call My Agent! has resumed pre-production, with shoots now planned for April. Following a London talent agency as they work tirelessly to keep the business afloat and clients happy, it’s written and directed by 2012 and W1A creator John Morton. Casting is by Rachel Freck.
