The team are seeking one male Key Worker, playing age 19–29 – this could include supermarket workers, transport staff, refuse collectors and so on. Volunteer (someone who has helped during the pandemic) can be any gender with a playing age of 19–28. Community Creative can be any gender with playing ages 19–28. They could be a DJ or artist who has been actively creating during lockdown. The project also needs a real-life Mother and two children, ideally with a toddler and a 7–8-year-old. Students in Glasgow are casting short film Millie Moon, following a fiercely independent Glaswegian woman who is moving to New York, and her best friend, who tries to make her fall back in love with Glasgow. The team are seeking lead character Millie Moon, female, playing age 20–25, slim build, and average height. Male lead Lewis Hayes has a playing age of 21–28. He’s athletic, average-to-tall, a Glaswegian joiner, and Millie’s best friend since childhood. Supporting role Sophia Hayes is female, playing age 18–25. She’s a student, mischievous, and always wants the best for her friend Millie. The film shoots in Glasgow 24–28 August and roles are paid professionally. Indie film site casting for review performers
Flick Fair, the on-demand indie film site, is casting for performers to sign up for a free pass and review the platform. The team are looking for film lovers, any age, any gender, any ethnicity and any background. You’ll work from home, shooting and submitting a genuine review, with five performers selected for their video to be used on the site for three months. Training providers Stay Safe Global are casting for an actor/presenter with a North American accent to present and voice educational content on personal safety. The project needs a female, playing age 21–50, any ethnicity, with a genuine North American accent. Shoots are in London and/or Cambridge this July and September, and the role is paid £200–250 per day plus travel expenses.
