The Lost Daughter
Elena Ferrante’s story of a woman confronting a dark past while on holiday is being adapted for the big screen, with a script by the author and Maggie Gyllenhaal directing. With an all-star cast including Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Olivia Colman and Dakota Johnson, the project is gearing up to film soon and casting director Kahleen Crawford is attached.
Hanna
Amazon Prime’s high-concept action thriller and coming-of-age drama Hanna is gearing up to shoot a third series, with Esme Creed-Miles taking the title role once more. The series is currently in pre-production, with filming scheduled for the end of 2020 and casting director Shaheen Baig attached.
Anatomy of a Scandal – Update
Netflix’s adaptation of Sarah Vaughan’s hit thriller novel starts shooting at the end of October for 20 weeks. Starring Michelle Dockery, Sienna Miller and Rupert Friend, the series charts the unravelling of a high-profile marriage in the wake of a husband being accused of a terrible crime. Casting director Lucy Bevan is attached.
