UK documentary team casting for Monroe and other lookalikes
A biopic documentary about Marilyn Monroe is casting for her lookalike, plus two male performers that resemble her partners Arthur Miller and Joe DiMaggio. The series looks at the biggest names in the American entertainment industry, with a combination of interviews, archive and dramatic reconstruction. Marilyn Monroe is female, playing age 25–35, and white. Bleach-blonde hair and a height of 1.66m are preferable but not essential. The role is paid £400 per day. Joe DiMaggio is male, playing age 35–45, and white; while Arthur Miller is male, playing age 35–45, and white. Both male roles are paid £250 per day. Urgent – Immersive audio show casting voiceover talent
New immersive audio show Eulogy is casting supporting and background speaking roles. The acclaimed team are makers of Darkfield, a ground-breaking sonic experience for audiences. Various Speaking Roles are for voiceover artists of any gender, 18+ and any ethnicity. These are paid £100 for a half-day recording. Other roles include voiceover extras, all genders, 18+ and any ethnicity. These are paid £50 for one/two hours work. All roles record 11 or 16 July in southeast London, exact times TBC, and you must be able to travel to the recording without using public transport. The team are seeking performers based in London. Feature film casting supporting roles
Casting director Rachita Kapoor is seeking performers to feature in a host of speaking roles for feature action film Bell Bottom. Following a group of intelligence officers on a mission to save hostages from a hijacked flight, the team are seeking actors for: News Reporter, male, playing ages 28–40 and white. He’s presentable, professional, and speaks like a true reporter. Charter Pilot, male, playing ages 40–50, and white. Indian/Pakistani Students, any gender, playing ages 20–30, South Asian. They are learning French, so must have some basic French. German Woman, female, playing age 50–65 and white – must be able to perform in a German accent, though non-German speakers are welcome. The project shoots in July (exact dates TBC), in Glasgow and London.
