Harvest
The novel by cult author Jim Crace is getting a big-screen adaptation, with Greek filmmaker Athina Rachel Tsangari attached to direct the tale of how a medieval village reacts to three newcomers who become scapegoats for everyone’s misfortune. The film has only just entered pre-production with Ken Loach’s Sixteen Films attached, so there are no details on a schedule, but we do know that casting director Shaheen Baig is onboard.

Shetland 7
A seventh instalment of the BBC Scotland crime drama is set to film from the end of this month, following the further adventures of DI Jimmy Perez (Douglas Henshall) as he investigates crime in a close-knit community. Shooting begins from August 31 and longtime casting directors Orla O’Connor and Julie Harkin are attached.
How to Audition for the BBC The Glove
Long-rumoured Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer feature The Glove is moving into production, written by veteran comedy scriptwriter Tim Kirkby and with Morgana Robinson rumoured to be attached. Plot and production schedules are TBC but Shaheen Baig is now attached to cast.
