The School for Good and Evil
Netflix’s new feature fantasy franchise The School for Good and Evil is based on the books of the same name by American author Soman Chainani. Following the students and teachers at a school where ordinary children are trained to be fairy-tale heroes and villains, the film shoots in Belfast from early 2021 and Ghostbusters and Last Christmas director Paul Feig is attached. Also now on board is casting director Fiona Weir.
The Rig
Supernatural Scottish thriller The Rig follows a group of workers on a remote oil rig, due to return to the mainland when fog descends and a mysterious force takes hold. This Amazon and Screen Scotland production is gearing up to shoot in Edinburgh in early 2021 and casting is by Kelly Valentine Hendry and associates.

Avenue 5
Sky and HBO series Avenue 5 is heading towards production for a second series, shooting from December. Armando Iannucci’s space tourism comedy returns with star Hugh Laurie leading as Captain Ryan Clark. Casting directors Sarah Crowe and Allison Jones are also returning.
