Turns out, there’s no shortage of drama or deadpan humor at your local Department of Motor Vehicles. The series centers on the mildly chaotic lives of DMV employees and the customers who test their patience on a daily basis.
According to the CBS website, the single-camera series turns “everyday chaos into charm as a crew of lovable misfits tackle bureaucracy, bad attitudes, and busted printers—all with minimum wage and maximum sarcasm. It’s the job nobody wants, but the hangout you won’t want to miss.”
From sketch comedy veterans to rising TV stars, “DMV” is stacked with comedic talent. The cast includes:
- Harriet Dyer as Colette
- Tim Meadows as Gregg
- Tony Cavalero as Vic
- Molly Kearney as Barbara
- Gigi Zumbado as Ceci
- Alex Tarrant as Noa
Alexis Frank Koczara and Christine Smith Shevchenko are the show’s CDs. They previously worked together on “Black-ish,” “Grown-ish,” and “Cobra Kai.”

According to the Cinemaholic, “DMV” will film in Montreal during the summer and fall. Keep an eye on this CBS casting page for updates.
