Love HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’? Apply to These Gigs

HBO recently announced that production on Season 2 of “The Last of Us” will finally begin in early 2024. Set in a post-apocalyptic United States, the hit show starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey was greenlit for a second season back in January 2023. “Westhaven”

A nonunion horror feature film is casting for its late November–December shoot in the Folly Beach, South Carolina, area. Production is looking for a lead female actor, aged 21–35, to play Alison, a lead male actor, aged 21–35, to play Tom, and multiple all genders models, aged 18–35, to play Barflies. The roles of Alison and Tom pay $100–$400 per day for an estimated 10 days of work. The roles of the Barflies pay $100 per day for an estimated three days of work. Please note that the role of Alison requires nudity, and the roles of both Alison and Tom require surfing skills.

“Will Advise”

A nonunion horror feature film is casting for its upcoming shoot in the United States. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 18–40, to play Female Lead and a lead male actor, aged 18 and older, to play Male Lead. Both roles pay a flat rate of $800 for an estimated 40 hours of work.

“The Memorial”

A horror short film is casting for its March shoot in Los Angeles. Production is looking for a lead female actor, aged 25–37, to play Claire. The role pays $216 per day for an estimated three days of work. Travel compensation and housing for out-of-town talent will also be provided.

“The Smile Maker”

A nonunion horror feature film is casting for its upcoming shoot in Chicago and Jacksonville and Bloomington, Illinois. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 21–35, to play Alisha, a supporting female actor, aged 18–35, to play Bianca, and a supporting female actor, aged 55–90, to play Grace. All listed roles pay $100–$150 per day for an estimated 15 days of work. Please note that the role of Alisha requires nudity.

“Never Knock Again”

A found footage horror short film is casting for its upcoming shoot in Los Angeles and the Riverside, California, area. Production is looking for a lead male actor, aged 18–28, to play Robbie and a lead all genders actor, aged 18–28, to play Joey/Jamie. The roles pay a flat rate of $100 for an estimated 12 hours of work.
