We’re getting closer to the second season of “The Last of Us.” Though the next installment of the show doesn’t have a release date yet, news recently broke that Kaitlyn Dever has been cast as Abby for the forthcoming season. “Frank”

A student-scripted show with a modern adaptation of “Frankenstein” is casting for its April shoot in Scottsdale, Arizona. Production seeks a supporting male actor, aged 25–45, to play Creature. The role pays $150–$250 per day for an estimated four days of work.

“Iris Mortem”

A horror short film is casting for its upcoming shoot at Tissington Hall in Derbyshire, England. Production seeks a supporting male/non-binary actor, aged 22–32, to play Brother Moth, a supporting female actor, aged 30–40, to play Laura, and a supporting male actor, aged 34–46, to play Louis. All roles pay £155 per day for an estimated three days of work.

“The Flensing Eye”

A horror student film is casting for its Feb. 16–19 shoot approximately an hour’s drive from Boston or Providence, Rhode Island. Production seeks a lead male actor, aged 30–60, to play Dr. Clark Halloran, a supporting male actor, aged 18–30, to play Eliot Leary, and a supporting actor, aged 18–50, to play The Shepherd. The roles of Dr. Clark Halloran and The Shepherd pay $100 per day for an estimated four days of work. The role of Eliot Leary pays $100 per day for an estimated three days of work.

“Await Further Instructions”

A horror-thriller student film is casting for its Feb. 9–11 shoot in Fairfield, Connecticut. Production is looking for a lead male actor, aged 25–31, to play Lt. Fred Wilbert and a lead male actor, aged 29–35, to play 2nd Lt. Derek Moses. Both roles pay $30 per day for an estimated three days of work.

“Will Advise”

A nonunion horror feature film is casting for its upcoming shoot in the United States. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 18–40, to play Female Lead and a lead male actor, aged 18 and older, to play Male Lead. Both roles pay a flat rate of $800 for an estimated 40 hours of work.
