‘Bridgerton’ Director’s New UK Drama ‘Our House’ Is Greenlit + Casting

Our House
Production is kicking off on ITV’s small screen adaptation of Louise Candlish’s bestselling novel about a woman who arrives home to find strangers moving into her house, and all her family’s possessions and furniture nowhere to be seen. Sheree Folkson (Bridgerton) is attached to direct, with shoots starting in July. Casting director Andy Brierley is onboard.

Better
From Humans writers Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent, Better is a BBC redemption drama following a corrupt police detective undergoing a painful moral awakening and putting right 20 years of wrongdoing. Shooting begins in October in and around Leeds, and casting director Sonia Allam is attached. 

Sanditon 2 & 3
Britbox has given the go-ahead for a second and third series of the period drama based on Jane Austen’s unfinished final novel, with shooting in and around Bristol set to start in July. Rose Williams returns as the spirited and unconventional Charlotte Heywood, filming both series back-to-back. Rebecca Wright is casting.
