These screen, stage, and voice projects are casting for actors and talent in the UK right now, so sharpen your self-taping and audition skills and get busy.

Audio drama pilot casting remote female role 
A writer-director is seeking a London-based female voiceover artist for a scripted comedy podcast about a scientist and forces veteran out to save the world. Dr Fox is female, playing-age 30–35, and any ethnicity. As talented as she is beautiful, she’s an optimist but not a pushover. Please note: the casting will take into account appearance as it’s possible your image will be used for marketing materials. The team are open to a number of accents, including Italian, English, French and Slavic. The role is paid $500 for the pilot and equipment can be supplied to record remotely. Commercial casting for Olympic app
A social media campaign is casting London-based young people for a new app designed by the Olympic Committee. Gen Z and Millennials are playing-age 18–34, any gender, any ethnicity, and inclusive of all abilities, sizes and backgrounds. The team are seeking actors with striking features, like tattoos or great hair, as well as people who can improvise, have fun and convey plenty of emotion through physical performances. The project shoots 6–7 May in London and roles are paid a studio fee of £350 plus a buyout of £1000. Head to the casting notice for more information and to apply now. 

Docu-drama series casting for look-alikes
Breaking the Band is seeking a host of males and one female look-alike for an episode on hair rockers Whitesnake. All roles require actors who have strong physical resemblances to the real person. David Coverdale has a playing-age of 28–38 and the ability to lip sync convincingly. Micky Moody has a playing-age of 28–33. Wigging is available, including for the moustache, though the team would like someone who can mimic playing the guitar well, as they would with the following roles: John Sykes, playing-age 22–32, and Mel Galley, playing-age 30–42. Cozy Powell has a playing-age of 33–45 and requires a performer who plays (or can mimic) playing the drums. Tawny Kitaen is female, playing-age 25–30, with long brown hair. The episode shoots for one or two days between 4–7 May in London and the team are seeking performers based anywhere in the UK. Please note: travel and accommodation is not covered. BAFTA seeking real people to talk about TV
BAFTA are seeking real people who love television to discuss their must-see moments. Contributors can be based anywhere in the UK but must be able to speak passionately about their favourite TV. Shooting takes place either from home or in cities across the UK, including London, Cardiff, and Glasgow. If you’re based in or near one of the shooting locations, and can attend a Covid-safe filming slot between 19–23 April, then check out the full list of shows the team are seeking people to discuss. The team are also looking for people to self-record from home, letting rip on why they love one or all of the TV shows. The content will make up a micro-documentary, to be shown ahead of the BAFTA TV Awards. Roles are paid, and more information is available at the casting notice
