Lead female role in indie series
Indie TV series Kensal Town is casting for a leading role ahead of starting shoots later this month. Ammo is female, playing-age 17–19 and Arabic/Moroccan descent or mixed race. Thrown out of her house when she revealed she was gay, she joined a street gang. The team would like a performer with a West London/Ladbroke Grove accent and ideally someone who can sing. Film seeking leading male and female
Short film An Afternoon is a black and white drama, shot on Super 8 and using minimal dialogue, that explores a fleeting encounter between a young man and woman. The team are casting for the role of Man: male, playing-age 20–27 and any ethnicity. Despite organising a rendezvous with a young woman, he’s unsure whether to go through with it. Woman is female, playing age 18–27 and any ethnicity. She’s having second thoughts about the rendezvous. Rehearsal dates are TBC, with shoots in April at a location in Barnsley, Yorkshire. Corporate safety commercial casting men and women
A commercial agency is casting an ad about ransomware, shot in the style of BBC TV show Crimewatch and including dramatic re-enactments. Lead role Andy is male, playing-age 30–45 and any ethnicity. Holding a senior position in a high-profile company, he’s the victim of a ransomware attack after distractedly opening an email. Roz is female, playing-age 20–26 and any ethnicity. A hacker, she’s super-smart, switched on, aware, and slightly amoral. She shows no remorse and brags about how easy it was to infiltrate the system. ITV doc casting female look-alike
Casting researcher Eleanor Palmer is seeking a female look-alike for ITV docudrama Autopsy, exploring the life and death of comedian Jerry Lewis. SanDee Pitnick is female, playing-age 50–65, and white. She’s size 12 with a friendly face, around 5’5” tall, with dark brown hair and blue eyes (although contacts can be provided).
