Netflix’s Top Boy returns for a fourth run of the crime drama, with returning stars Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson. Ronan Bennett’s story continues exploring the brutal power struggles of life as a London drug gang. Casting director Des Hamilton is attached and filming begins this summer.
Don’t Forget the Driver 2
BBC 2’s dark comedy Don’t Forget the Driver returns for a second series, with returning star Toby Jones as a coach driver struggling with problems at home and work. Filming begins this June for six weeks and casting director Sam Jones is attached and casting now.

The Sister Boniface Mysteries
New series The Sister Boniface Mysteries is a Britbox spinoff of long-running BBC crime drama Father Brown. Set in 1960s Warwickshire and starring Lorna Watson as crime-solving nun Sister Boniface, the first series begins filming in late April in the east Midlands. Casting director Julia Crampsie is attached.
Brassic 3
A third series of Brassic, Joseph Gilgun’s love-letter to his misspent youth, is filming this year. The Sky comedy follows a group of young lads who drift into a life of petty crime and stars creator Gilgun alongside Michelle Keegan and Damien Molony. Filming begins later this year and casting directors Fiona Weir and Alice Searby are attached.
