‘The Beast Must Die’ 2, More UK Productions are Greenlit + Casting

The following UK projects are now visible on the horizon, whether in development or actively casting. Keep these leads on your radar and your eyes open for the opportunity to land an audition.

The Beast Must Die 2
Britbox original revenge thriller The Beast Must Die has been greenlit for a second series, filming this year. Creator Gaby Chiappe is re-attached to write but plot details are under wraps. Casting director Kate Rhodes James is likely to return along with associate Gordon Cowell, as may local casting director Dadina Sagger. 

The Great Escaper
Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson star in a feature based on the true story of veteran Bernard Jordan, who escaped his care home to attend the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France. Shooting is scheduled to begin later this month, with director Oliver Parker attached. Casting is by Lauren Evans (and read our interview with her here).

The Suspect
ITV psychological thriller The Suspect begins filming this September. Based on the series of books by Michael Robotham, the five-episode miniseries follows a man whose perfect life is put in peril by a single lie. No cast are attached as yet but CD Amy Hubbard is onboard.
