Sky One drama casting for twins
New Sky One sci-fi cop drama Intergalactic is casting for twins ahead of filming in Manchester later this month. The series, starring Parminder Nagra, Savannah Steyn, and Poldark’s Eleanor Tomlinson, is in a future where Earth is governed by a global authority, the Commonworld. Leading roles Twins are preferably mixed-sex or “quite androgynous,” playing ages 18–28 and any ethnicity.

Casting male identical twins for commercial
In a bumper week for acting twins, a commercial project in Israel is seeking male identical twins for a one-day shoot. Male Identical Twins have playing ages 22–40, with white European or Middle Eastern ethnicities. Fashionable, strong. The project shoots in Israel in early April and the roles are paid €1800 for both performers plus flight, transport and hotels. The team are seeking performers anywhere in the UK. Short film casting nationwide for Welsh talent
Short film For the Love of a Daughter explores alcoholism and how it affects adult children of alcoholic parents. The team are casting Welsh actors with authentic Welsh accents for three supporting roles. Rhia is female, playing age 20–30 and white. She’s caring for her younger sister but pushed to the limits by her drunken behaviour. Father is male, playing age 35–45 and white. The villain of the film, we only see him drunk, verbally and physically abusing his daughter. Mother is female, playing age 35–45 and white. She tries to protect her daughter but is quiet and overshadowed by her husband.
The project shoots 27–28 March in Swansea and roles are paid £50 per day plus travel, accommodation and catering. Sky series casting Nepalese performer
Casting director Susie Parriss is seeking a genuine Nepalese performer for a leading role in the new series of Sky series Agatha Raisin. Lead role Damar “Archie” Ale is male, playing age 65–75 and Nepalese. He’s a highly decorated ex-Gurkha soldier with a wiry build. A man of two cultures who seems lonely, he’s a tough survivor who’s proud of the life he’s lived. The project shoots 12 April–15 May in the Cotswolds and the role is paid above Equity minimum.
