The political satire feature film “Irresistible” is seeking male and female talent for background roles. The film is from writer and director Jon Stewart, formerly of “The Daily Show,” and stars Steve Carell and Rose Bryan. The story follows a slick Democratic strategist running the mayoral campaign of a disabled veteran in a small, right-wing Wisconsin town. The production needs talent, aged 40 and older, to play New York upper crust types at a Democratic fundraising event. Talent needs to have suits. The Starz series “P-Valley,” starring Brandee Evans and Nicco Annan, is casting male and female talent, aged 18 and older, for background roles. A series of digital advertisements for “Zero Odor” needs male and female talent for leading roles. The ads will feature “customers” sharing their product experience. The production is seeking female talent, aged 30–80, to play an empty nester, male and female talent, aged 20–70, to play a husband and wife on a health kick and male talent, aged 18 or older, to play a lonely bachelor dog owner. A music video shooting is looking for a male lead. “Love N Hate” is for NBC’s “The Voice” Season 14 contestant Jamella. The production needs Latino/Hispanic, or multiracial male talent, aged 18–25, with a toned or athletic physique to play a jealous and abusive boyfriend. The role requires some shirtless scenes as well as portraying intimacy and violence in a PG-13 manner. Shooting will take place in Orlando, Florida on April 19 and 20.
