Greenlit means a project is officially a go, so all you have to do is follow these leads to stay up to date. You never know where you’ll find an opportunity to land an audition!

“Succession”
The Roy Family is back and bringing new allies and enemies into Season 3. HBO’s “Succession” has added Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, and Jihae to its cast for its upcoming season. They will join series regulars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, and more. Season 3 will pick up where Season 2 left off after rebellious son Kendall ambushed family patriarch Logan, leaving rising tensions as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war. The series is casting for filming in New York City this winter and spring, including a current call for security guards in background roles. Avy Kaufman is the series’ casting director.

“Dexter”
Off the news last week that Clancy Brown will play the lead antagonist in the upcoming revival of Showtime’s “Dexter,” the limited series has added more to its cast. Julia Jones, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, and Jack Alcott will play supporting roles opposite Brown and series star Michael C. Hall. Little is known about the plot of the upcoming 10-episode revival, but former series showrunner Clyde Phillips will return. Production is reportedly beginning in Massachusetts next month, but New York-based Tucker/Meyerson Casting is seeking talent to fill out the 10-episode limited series return. “Assisted Living”
A little over a year since her feature film debut in the hit “Hustlers,” Cardi B has scored her first leading role in a film. The multihyphenate will star in the comedy “Assisted Living,” which will follow Amber, a small-time crook who finds herself in over her head when a heist goes wrong. On the run, she disguises herself as an elderly woman and hides out in the one place no one will look: her estranged grandmother’s nursing home. Paramount will distribute the film, which is based on an original spec script by Kay Oyegun (“This Is Us”). No director has been named for the film.

Untitled David O. Russell Film
The cast of David O. Russell’s currently untitled next feature is increasingly hard to beat. Recently joining the project are Rami Malek, Zoe Saldaña, Robert De Niro, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola. The list of stars joins the previously announced A-list cast of Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington. Little is known about the upcoming New Regency flick, which is based on an original idea from Russell. Production is currently underway in California. Betty Mae, Inc. is the casting team.

“Julia”
One of the culinary industry’s greatest and most beloved icons will have her story told once again on the small screen. HBO Max has given an eight-episode series order to “Julia,” a drama based on the life of Julia Child. Inspired by Child’s life and her long-running television series, “The French Chef,” the series will star Sarah Lancashire in the titular role, as well as David Hyde Pierce, Brittany Bradford, Fran Kranz, Fiona Glascott, Bebe Neuwirth, Isabella Rossellini, and Jefferson Mays. The series comes from Chris Keyser with Lionsgate distributing.
