The name Han Solo is synonymous with Harrison Ford, but other well-known actors auditioned for the part as well—including Kurt Russell. Despite a grainy tape, it’s evident the actor would’ve held his own as the iconic space captain.
Although he did not get cast in “Star Wars,” you can see the Golden Globe nominee in Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, “The Hateful Eight,” opposite the likes of this week’s Backstage cover star Jennifer Jason Leigh, Samuel L. Jackson, and Bruce Dern.
