His Dark Materials 3
After the pandemic condensed the second series, Jack Thorne’s acclaimed BBC and HBO adaptation of Philip Pullman’s fantasy trilogy returns for its third and final instalment, taking the story from the book The Amber Spyglass. Stars Dafne Keen, Amir Wilson, Ruth Wilson, Simone Kirby, Ruta Gedmintas, Jade Anouka, and James McAvoy all return, and production is set to begin this spring in Wales. Casting directors Kahleen Crawford and Dan Jackson are attached.

Witchfinder
A remake of 1968 film Witchfinder General (AKA: The Conqueror Worm), this visceral horror feature follows a witch hunter in 17th century England as his mission to cleanse the country of witches results in the deaths of hundreds of women. No actors are onboard as yet but production is set for 2021 and casting director Des Hamilton is attached.
Update – Doc Martin 10
The final instalment of much-loved series Doc Martin has delayed production, with Martin Clunes now having to wait until 2022 to take his last turn at the squeamish surgeon in the sleepy village of Portwenn. Shooting is on location in Cornwell in early 2022 and casting director Toby Whale is very likely to be attached.
