Apple TV is taking us back behind the Iron Curtain with “Star City,” an expansion of the “For All Mankind” universe. The eight-episode alt-history thriller flips the script on the space race, retelling the iconic saga from the perspective of the Soviet Union’s secret space program.
Leading the cast is Rhys Ifans (“House of the Dragon”), bringing gravitas to a world defined by extreme altitudes. The series is spearheaded by the original “For All Mankind” team—Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Ronald D. Moore—ensuring the same gritty, detail-oriented storytelling fans love.
