ABC’s hit procedural “High Potential” is officially back on the calendar, with new episodes of Season 2 returning Jan. 6, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET, and streaming the next day on Hulu. The show’s return will come a little over two months after October’s midseason cliffhanger. As of now, a third installment is still on the table.

Showrunner and executive producer Todd Harthan teased to TV Line that a “clever little device” kicks off the next episode in a “surprising and interesting” way. He also told Deadline, “Part of it was sending the audience off into the hiatus with a case that I thought was a fun ride and promised to be even more of a roller coaster in the second part.”
